Saturday, 13th July 2019, 9am -4pm
Ngamotu Rd, Spotswood.
A few spots left, please contact email@example.com if interested.
We’ll be focusing on Chris and Zoe’s, rear sloping, southern aspect section. Using permaculture design principles; we’ll be putting in a temperate food forest, with annual garden beds, a chicken habitat, and address the rain run off. We also want to make it wheel barrow friendly, take advantage of the Maunga with a ‘picnic spot’, and create some shelter from that southerly.
We are looking for people interested in learning/sharing knowledge about Permaculture, especially in a suburban setting, and then doing it. So would prefer people who can attend for the full duration to get this project done (9am to 4pm).
There will be talks of the how and why we used the permaculture design we did, as well as other useful things like creating happy chicken habitats, tree planting and water management.
Our back-up day is Sunday, 14th, 9am to 4pm if the weather is really bad, but normally we work with the rain showers.
Refreshments and a hearty lunch will be provided, with vegetarian options.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org, if you’re keen. No worries on if you have little or no knowledge of permaculture, we value diversity.
